Between the stars of San Lorenzo

Palazzo Medici Riccardi and the Metropolitan City of Florence are taking part in the San Lorenzo celebrations with an exceptional extended opening of the museum until 10.00 pm – last admission at 9.00 pm – and free entry from 6.00 pm for residents of the Metropolitan City (admission fee applies for non-residents).

Please note that, from 6.00 pm, both entry to and exit from the museum will be from Via Ginori 2.

Admission will grant access to the museum, including the Chapel of the Magi, the Hall of Mirrors, the Marble Museum and the Archaeological Trail, as well as the two temporary exhibitions currently on display: ‘Firenze Déco. Atmospheres of the 1920s’, open until 25 August 2026, and ‘Paolo Antonio Martini. Drawing and Therefore Dreaming’, open until 13 September.
